ACC launched the Educational Advancement Program in fall 2012 to support College employees pursuing their educational and professional goals. Through shared governance, each employee association helps steer the program’s development.
Three Educational Plans
The Educational Advancement Program provides three plans for employees, depending on their individual educational or professional goals.

Award for Recent Graduates
In association with the Educational Advancement Program, ACC Total Rewards manages the Educational Incentive Award.
Non-faculty employees who have held a staffing table position for at least 12 consecutive months and are not on performance probation may be eligible for a one-time stipend.
This award is available upon earning one of the following degrees or certificates:
- Associate degree
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree
- Doctorate degree
- ACC college credit workforce technical certificate
The award amount varies depending on the degree. You may earn only one award for each level of degree, and further, applicants with advanced degrees are not eligible for funding of lower-tier degrees.
Applications must be submitted within 12 months of receiving the degree or ACC certificate. Please follow the instructions at the link below to apply.
Please note: hourly/temporary employees are not eligible for this award.
