The Sick Leave Pool was established by state law to alleviate hardship for employees who have used all of their paid leave (sick, vacation, holiday, etc.) as a result of a catastrophic illness or injury (their own or within their immediate family). An employee may apply for leave from the Sick Leave Pool by completing the form linked below or contacting HR via hrsupport@austincc.edu or submitting a Mojo ticket. The employee should make the request before additional sick leave is needed to allow for processing and review.
