Asset Management Team

The Asset Management Team (AMT) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the tagging, tracking, disposal, and reporting associated with Austin Community College District’s (ACC) fixed assets.

What Does AMT Do?

At the heart of our operations lies a commitment to effective stewardship of ACC’s fixed assets, which are located throughout ACC’s taxing district. The AMT is tasked with the following key responsibilities:

  • Asset Tracking: Through state-of-the-art tracking systems and methodologies, we tag the asset and monitor its the location for its useful life to ensure optimal utilization and prevent loss or misplacement.
  • Inventory Management: We maintain accurate records of all assets owned or leased by ACC, ranging from equipment and facilities to intellectual property and digital resources.
  • Lifecycle Management: We oversee the assets’ lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, by implementing strategies to maximize value and efficiencies at every stage.

How Does AMT Make a Difference?

By effectively managing ACC’s assets, we contribute to the institution’s overall success by:

  • Enhancing operational efficiency through optimized asset utilization.
  • Facilitating strategic decision-making by providing accurate and up-to-date asset data.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Safeguarding ACC’s financial investments and minimizing risk exposure.
