Austin Community College District provides parking at no cost for students, employees, and guests at ACC campuses and facilities.
General Parking Information
- ACC students, staff, and guests are not required to have a parking permit to park on ACC property.
- Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in spaces not otherwise restricted by posted signage.
- Please follow all posted signs, traffic directions, fire lane restrictions, accessible parking requirements, service vehicle spaces, loading zones, and other designated-use parking areas.
- Vehicles and personal property are left at the owner’s risk. ACC does not accept responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles or vehicle contents.
Campus Parking Questions
Parking needs and day-to-day campus parking logistics are managed by each campus’s Campus Administration team.
For general parking questions, campus parking concerns, or location-specific parking needs, please contact your campus’s Campus Administration.
Unsafe or Illegal Parking
To report unsafe or illegal parking, including a vehicle blocking traffic, blocking a roadway, parked in a fire lane, or creating a safety concern, contact the ACC Police Department.
In an emergency, call 911.
For non-emergency ACC Police service calls, call (512) 223-1231.
Electric Vehicle Charging
Electric vehicle charging stations are available at ACC campuses. EV charging is managed by the Office of Energy & Sustainability.

Parking Lot Rentals, Events, and Special Parking Requests
If your request involves renting parking lots, event parking, special parking needs, or a parking-related agreement, please begin by contacting Campus Administration for the specific campus or facility. Campus Administration will coordinate with Risk & Fleet Management when a request requires risk review, insurance guidance, an agreement, or other special review.
Personal Safety
ACC Police are available to escort students and employees to their vehicles. For a non-emergency escort request, call (512) 223-1231. Always have your keys ready when approaching your vehicle, be aware of your surroundings, and keep your doors locked when inside.
