We at the Austin Community College District Police Department are committed to the safety and security of all students, faculty, staff, and members of the public while on or in any property or facility owned or operated by the College. Our mission is to deter crime, protect property, preserve the peace, enforce the law, and safeguard the rights of everyone.
We strive to work closely with all members of the Austin Community College family to ensure our collective success. Every one of our officers is dedicated to a community-oriented policing model that allows us to best serve the needs of the College. The ACC Police Department is a team of sworn, licensed Texas Peace Officers and support staff committed to keeping the ACC community and guests safe.
Officers are available on campuses at all times when campuses are open.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Austin Community College Police Department is to provide for the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff, and the general public while on or in any property or facility owned or operated by the College.
The department acts to deter crime, protect property, preserve the peace, and enforce all federal, state, and local laws within its jurisdiction. In accomplishing this mission, Department employees shall apply the law and policy in an equitable and consistent manner, maintain a customer-service orientation, and treat everyone with respect.
