October is International Campus Sustainability Month!
In October, join the Office of Energy & Sustainability in celebrating some of the exciting sustainability initiatives throughout the District.

Check out the calendar of events below. All events are FREE and open to ACC students, faculty, and staff. RSVP may be required for some events.
October 7th & 8th – Tour the Rooftop Solar Array at the Highland Campus
Join the Energy Conservation Manager up on the roof of the Highland Campus to learn more about solar and ACC’s commitment to renewable energy.
*The solar tours are limited to ACC students, faculty, and staff over the age of 18 and requires an online RSVP to attend.

Solar Smoothie Demos – Multiple Campuses! All events will be outdoors from 10:30-12:30 pm.
Grab a free smoothie made by a solar powered blender and talk with the Office of Energy & Sustainability about ACC’s commitment to renewable energy during our Campus Sustainability Month celebration!

Get a Green Pass and travel with the Office of Energy & Sustainability and ACC Student Life to a free TopGolf outing by riding the CapMetro train.
*This event is currently only open to students
All interested students must RSVP through Student Life AND Movability.
Volunteer Friday at the Farm – Every Friday this Fall
Join ACC Agricultural Sciences every Friday for a chance to get involved with the Student Farm! The farm gate will be open from 9:00-12:00 for any interested individuals to stop by, tour the farm, and get their hands dirty with a variety of volunteer tasks. The only requirements to join each week is a valid ACC ID, proper sun protection, water, and a mindset of respect and safety at all times. Questions?
