Campus Operations: Winter Storm Damage Information

College campuses and centers reported various degrees of damage, such as broken water pipes, water leaks, and power outages. Our dedicated staff worked quickly to make necessary repairs. Most campuses and centers had relatively minor damage thanks to Operations teams being onsite and working around the clock to immediately address issues as they happened. As a result, all but Cypress Creek Campus, Building 1000 and Eastview Campus reopened on Wednesday, 2/24.
As of early April, all campuses were up and running. A small number of health sciences classes had to be moved for the remainder of the semester. The college continues to operate temporary cooling towers at Northridge, Eastview, Riverside, and Cypress Creek Campuses while it awaits for new equipment to arrive. To date, $2.3 million has been spent on winter storm recovery.
