Sharon Miller, M.A.
Sharon Miller is the Interim Director of International Programs at Austin Community College (ACC). Ms. Miller earned her master’s degree in international education from SIT Graduate Institute in 2015, while also managing her small custom winery, being a full-time single mom, and working part-time as the Coordinator for International Programs at ACC.
Ms. Miller brings a wealth of experience to her position, having worked in the field of international education for over 12 years, both at academic institutions and third-party providers.
While pursuing her bachelor’s degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, Ms. Miller studied abroad in Australia for 12 months and after graduation lived and worked in London for six months.
These experiences instilled a passion for travel and education abroad that Ms. Miller applies to her daily work. In her free time, Ms. Miller enjoys spending time with her son, a rising junior at the University of Texas at Austin, hiking the beautiful Texas Hill Country with her two dogs, and traveling the world. As of this writing, Ms. Miller has visited 55 different countries and hopes to one day visit at least 100.
