Erasmus Addae, Ph.D.
Erasmus Addae has been with Austin Community College since 2017. He serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor of Digital Learning, overseeing the quality assurance of online courses and programs.
The department’s portfolio includes a systemic, innovative approach to increasing awareness, building capacity, and recognizing excellence in distance education across the district.
Erasmus embraces a learner-centered approach, with a focus on enhancing access to quality distance learning while providing the support services necessary to facilitate student success.
He has a strong interest in using technology when appropriate to address challenges such as retention, student success, and engagement in distance learning.
Before joining ACC, Erasmus served as the founding dean of distance learning at South Texas College, where he directed the development and growth of the college’s online programs and the expansion of the South Texas Virtual Campus.
Erasmus graduated from Tarleton State University with a master’s in information systems. He earned his Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University.
