Mission Statement
The mission of Custodial Services is to provide and maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors through an innovative approach to service that upholds ACC standards and responsibilities to the community.
About Us
Custodial Services cleans and maintains district facilities from the interior to the curb of the parking lot. We service and maintain restrooms, and provide support for setting up special programming and events. Custodial Services supports the mission of ACC by providing clean and safe learning environments while maintaining sustainable standards through our processes and the use of green friendly products.
Custodial Services strives to proactively limit exposure to viruses, toxins, contaminates and pathogens, providing clean and safe environments across the ACC district using Process Cleaning for Healthy Schools® (PC4HS).
Who We Are
The Custodial Services Department consists of the manager, four supervisors, and 130 staff at locations across the district. Our shifts generally are:
- Day shift: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Swing shift: noon to 9 p.m. or 3 p.m. to midnight
- Night shift: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Weekend service varies by location.
The department also houses the Custodial Floor Team which maintains floors across the district.
