ACC Board of Trustees Elections

Under Texas law, Austin Community College is a separate political subdivision. It is responsible for conducting elections to elect members of the ACC Board of Trustees, to levy taxes, and for annexation issues.

Members of the Board of Trustees represent residents of the ACC taxing district. Trustees are elected at large for six-year terms to provide appropriate high-level guidance and leadership to ensure the College meets the needs of the communities served. The next Board of Trustees election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

The filing period for the November 3, 2026, election is July 20 to August 17. Applications must be in by 5 p.m. CDT on the last day of the filing period. Applications can be delivered:

in person to the ACC Highland Campus, Building 3000 (corner of Wilhelmina Delco Dr. and Clayton Lane) (RECOMMENDED);
by mail to ACC’s Elections office, HLC 3, B-3, 6101 Highland Campus Dr., Austin, TX 78752-6000;
by e-mail to elections@austincc.edu; or
by fax at 512-223-1397.
