Cheers to the start of the fall semester! As Chancellor of Austin Community College District, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to the Riverbat community.
ACC is an incredible place to learn. We want you to feel accepted, supported, and respected when you’re here. Our faculty and staff care deeply about your success. We are home to one of the nation’s first Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Centers, the nationally recognized ACCelerator lab, three incubators connecting local businesses with students, and more. I encourage you to explore all that is here and get involved.
Whether you’re taking classes on campus or online, there are resources to help you achieve your goals. We offer free, 24/7 tutoring and library services, academic advising, career services, money management support, and more. There are also Student Life groups and activities as well as arts events to enjoy and connect with others.
When you’re here, we want you to know that your health and well-being are among our top priorities. We continue to follow guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Texas Department of Health Services, and local health departments.
