ACCTV

Oh, It’s On.

ACC Television is a public media outlet featuring programming produced by Austin Community College students, faculty, staff, and community partners. ACCTV embraces the mission and vision of the college and serves as a multimedia hub for learning, information, technology, community conversations, and diverse entertainment.

Our purpose is to showcase the excellence and diversity of ACC, provide students with real-world experiences, and serve as a catalyst for community collaboration and dialogue for Austin and the Central Texas area. In 2018, ACC announced a partnership with Austin PBS bringing together academic and professional expertise that aims to transform public television in Austin.  Read about the ACC and KLRU partnership at ACC Highland.

Wanna Work with Us?

We work with students, college departments, and community partners to create, produce, and acquire content for ACCTV as well as develop and produce original programming. Content must align with the mission to expand access to higher education, promote student success, and produce a strong workforce that benefits the communities we serve.

If you have programming or show ideas, we’d love to hear from you! Please email all content inquiries, submissions, or questions to Carrye Glazar, executive producer, at carrye.glazar@austincc.edu.

Need Video Services?

Additionally, our production team produces many short form content pieces like broadcast commercials, promos, and specific videos which have a BIG external districtwide reach. This content also must be able to play on ACCTV to continue to fill our channel.

Criteria for what is produced is basically it must be in alignment with the Chancellor’s priorities and important college wide initiatives. The Office of College Relations and Marketing helps determine which of these additional projects ACCTV takes on. Submit a request using the OCRM Marketing Services form.
