Nuoshi Culhane serves as a Recruiting Specialist within the Recruitment Services at ACC. In this role, Nuoshi is dedicated to assisting students in discovering and exploring academic pathways while facilitating the ACC application process. Her passion lies in imparting knowledge to empower students in achieving their academic aspirations at ACC. Nuoshi holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new culinary experiences at restaurants and engaging in puzzle-solving activities during her leisure time.

Isabel Guillen

Isabel Guillen is a Recruitment Specialist for Austin Community College. Isabel is passionate about helping students achieve academic success for a brighter future and encouraging them to reach their own educational goals by providing information about the college and assisting with the application process. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Isabel enjoys cooking and baking for her family and friends. She finds the process relaxing and rewarding. On top of that, Isabel loves to attend self-development workshops.

Darric Ward

Darric Ward is a Recruiter responsible for assisting prospective students with the ACC application process, campus tours, and providing information at high school and community events. He proudly holds a Bachelors of Science in University Studies Business from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Education from Texas Christian University. He also currently takes classes in the Audio Technology and Industry program at ACC. His favorite part of being a Recruiter is being a guide and mentor to incoming students. Priding himself as a lifelong learner, Darric is an excellent resource for students, providing a friendly and welcoming personality to all. 

Bryce Turner

Bryce Turner is a Recruitment Specialist from Fort Worth, TX armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Sociology from Texas State University. In his role at Austin Community College, Bryce helps prospective students in their pursuit of higher education. Bryce is passionate about fostering community engagement and making education an accessible possibility for all. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds joy in the rhythm of live music and the adventure of outdoor recreation. With a commitment to both individual growth and community well-being, Bryce Turner brings a unique blend of communication skills and sociological insights to his work, shaping educational journeys in the heart of Texas.

Jonathan Lara

Jonathan Lara is a Recruitment Specialist for Austin Community College. Jonathan is responsible for helping the college grow and assisting with any application questions that prospective students may have. Jonathan is also responsible for making sure students feel seen and heard when questions arise about college. Jonathan is a former Riverbat as well, who spent over a year at ACC before transferring to Texas State University. He has a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science with minors in Public Health and Communication. As a first-generation student himself, Jonathan strives to ensure students from all backgrounds get to where they want to be.

Nhi Tien

Nhi Tien is a Recruiting Assistant with Recruitment Services at ACC, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In her role, besides maintaining and updating records, she actively supports and participates with Recruiting Specialists in recruiting visits, college fairs, and other events to inform prospective students about ACC’s offerings and assists with the application process. She finds great joy in connecting and interacting with students from different backgrounds, ensuring they have a strong foundation as they transition from high school to the path of college education. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants with her family and reading books.

Katie Gonzalez

Katie Gonzalez is a Recruiting Assistant at the South Austin Campus. Katie graduated in 2023 from the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies. They work exceptionally well connecting with prospective adult learners who have never attended college, or those who are returning to higher education after a long break. Katie believes in supporting all students regardless of their background and that it’s never too late to learn new skills.

Helen Tonnu

Helen Tonnu serves as the Recruitment Manager for Austin Community College within the Office of Enrollment Management. With a deep commitment to assisting students in pursuing their higher education aspirations, Helen brings forth her passion for guiding individuals toward success. A proud Austinite and alumna of both ACC and UT, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies with a minor in History. Outside of her professional endeavors, Helen finds solace in delving into personal development literature, with one of her favorites being “The Servant: A Simple Story About the True Essence of Leadership” by James Hunter. Helen eagerly anticipates the opportunity to support students with dedication and compassion.
