About the EPMO Office
Welcome to the ACC Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). At Austin Community College, we are constantly working on new ways to help our students succeed. To ensure our most important projects are managed consistently and successfully from start to finish, the college has established EPMO. We serve as a collaborative partner for the entire district. By working across departments, we help reduce risks, increase the value of our work, and make sure every major initiative has the support it needs to thrive.
How We Support ACC
The EPMO does more than just track tasks; we focus on the college’s biggest priorities, such as the Theory of Change and our 2030 North Star goal. Our goal is to make project work clearer and more effective for everyone involved. We focus on:
Strategic Focus: We help narrow down the project pipeline to prevent “initiative fatigue,” ensuring our teams can focus their energy on the projects that matter most.
True Collaboration: We bridge the gap between centralized guidance and the specialized expertise that already exists in our departments. We work side-by-side with staff to build and execute projects together.
Sustainable Success: We believe innovation is only useful if it lasts. We are building a library of tools, templates, and training to help every ACC employee manage their work more easily and effectively.
Ultimately, the EPMO is a service for the college. We are here to provide the transparency and support needed to move ACC forward.
