Semiconductor Manufacturing Expansion<\/h3>\n

As the semiconductor industry experiences unprecedented growth spurred by the federal CHIPS Act<\/a> and other public and private investment, OSI partners extensively with the Advanced Manufacturing department<\/a> to maintain deep industry engagement and enable rapid expansion of credit, non-credit, and customized corporate training programs to ensure the strength of the region’s talent pipeline. Infrastructure Academy<\/h3>\n

The Infrastructure Academy was approved by Austin City Council in March 2024 to support the rapid growth of regional mobility and infrastructure projects such as Project Connect<\/a>, Austin Airport Expansion<\/a>, and I-35 Capital Express Projects<\/a>. In collaboration with the Design, Manufacturing, Construction, and Applied Technologies Area of Study<\/a> and Continuing Education<\/a>, OSI establishes ACC’s central role in the Infrastructure Academy. Goldi AI Pilot<\/h3>\n

The Goldi AI Pilot is an innovative initiative that provides students with a safe, AI-powered environment to practice professional networking and bridge the “social capital gap.” By embedding these tools into the ACC experience, we are empowering students to build the authentic professional relationships and confidence necessary to secure high-wage careers and increase economic mobility. Workforce Learning Experience Design<\/h3>\n

ACC\u2019s workforce programs are tasked with delivering high-quality, industry-aligned training to help learners across Central Texas develop skills in a variety of fields, such as advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and health care. The new Workforce Learning Experience design team will enable these programs to implement a responsive, demand-driven approach to course and program development.
