Semiconductor Manufacturing Expansion

As the semiconductor industry experiences unprecedented growth spurred by the federal CHIPS Act and other public and private investment, OSI partners extensively with the Advanced Manufacturing department to maintain deep industry engagement and enable rapid expansion of credit, non-credit, and customized corporate training programs to ensure the strength of the region’s talent pipeline. Infrastructure Academy

The Infrastructure Academy was approved by Austin City Council in March 2024 to support the rapid growth of regional mobility and infrastructure projects such as Project Connect, Austin Airport Expansion, and I-35 Capital Express Projects. In collaboration with the Design, Manufacturing, Construction, and Applied Technologies Area of Study and Continuing Education, OSI establishes ACC’s central role in the Infrastructure Academy. Workforce Learning Experience Design Team

ACC’s workforce programs are tasked with delivering high-quality, industry-aligned training to help learners across Central Texas develop skills in a variety of fields, such as advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and health care.
