At Austin Community College (ACC), we prioritize our employees’ well-being, which is why we offer Workers’ Compensation. This essential coverage provides protection and support for our staff in the event of work-related injuries or illnesses. If an employee is injured on the job or develops a work-related health issue, Workers’ Compensation steps in to cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, lost wages, and even disability benefits. Our goal is to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all our employees, and this policy plays a vital role in providing them with the support they need during challenging times.<\/p>\n

Filing a Claim<\/h2>\n

To start filing a Workers\u2019 Compensation Claim, have an ACC coworker complete our\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Employee Injury\/Illness Claim Intake Form<\/a> and the Injury\/Incident Reporting Form<\/a> for the Department of Safety and Environmental Management. The ACC Employee Accident Form will automatically send an email to the employee claimant with further instructions.
