ACC’s Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic & Student Affairs, Dr. Monique Umphrey, created the Shining Star Award as a way to recognize individuals who demonstrate courage, compassion, joy, and yes in their daily work at ACC. Dr. Umphrey spotlights individuals who have consistently with enthusiasm demonstrated these ACC values and become role models for others to emulate.
