Brainstorming and Planning<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify the kind of project you want to create.<\/li>\n<li>Contact the <a href=\"mailto:grants@austincc.edu\">Grant Development &amp; Compliance Office<\/a> to discuss your project and identify funders.<\/li>\n<li>Once a funder is identified, a Resource Development Officer will reach out to help you develop your project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Project Development<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will work closely with your Resource Development Officer until the project and budget are complete.<\/li>\n<li>Depending on the complexity of the proposal, planning meetings can occur over a period of days, weeks, or even up to a year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Submitting the Grant Proposal<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your Resource Development Officer will submit the completed proposal and budget for a series of internal approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Once all approvals are secured, your grant will be submitted to the funding agency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Grant Award and Management<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Awards can take several weeks or months.
