The <a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/institutional-effectiveness-and-grant-development\/program-review-working-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Program Review Working Group<\/a> develops Program Review standards and conducts evaluations of the reviews. The faculty-led process is overseen and facilitated by the Office of Institutional Planning &amp; Accreditation.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guiding Principles<\/h2>\n<p>The Program Review process is based on these guiding principles:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Faculty have primary responsibility for the content, effectiveness, and quality of the program.<\/li>\n<li>The information from the Program Review should be used to&nbsp;guide program planning.<\/li>\n<li>The Program Review process should not be overly burdensome to faculty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose<\/h2>\n<p>The purpose of the Program Review process is to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct an authentic and critically reflective assessment of every certificate and degree program that the College offers, including a review of student learning outcomes and the program\u2019s contribution to the College\u2019s mission.<\/li>\n<li>Create a three\u2010year plan that facilitates continuous improvement of each program and is incorporated into the College\u2019s larger Institutional Planning process.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that external accreditation requirements are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Review Rubric<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1zB4MkyhpeqOiHLakgSJeTGkySGn8yyoESV-aiM89b7Y\/edit?usp=sharing\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1zB4MkyhpeqOiHLakgSJeTGkySGn8yyoESV-aiM89b7Y\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Program Review Rubric &#8211; 2024-2025<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Austin Community College\u2019s Program Review process for instructional programs provides a framework to guide the reflective evaluation of the program content, effectiveness, and quality.
