Through shared governance, each employee association helps steer the program\u2019s development.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three Educational Plans<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Educational Advancement Program provides three plans for employees, depending on their individual educational or professional goals.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/human-resources\/tuition-waiver-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tuition Waiver Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/human-resources\/tuition-vouchers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tuition Voucher Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/human-resources\/tuition-reimbursement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tuition Reimbursement Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn more about the program in the Administrative Rule <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=976\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> or the Guideline\/Procedure <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=1145\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Award for Recent Graduates<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In association with the Educational Advancement Program, ACC Total Rewards manages the <strong>Educational Incentive Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-faculty employees who have held a staffing table position for at least 12 consecutive months and are not on performance probation may be eligible for a one-time stipend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This award is available upon earning one of the following degrees or certificates:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Associate degree<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Doctorate degree<\/li>\n<li>ACC college credit workforce technical certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The award amount varies depending on the degree. You may earn only <em>one<\/em> award for each level of degree, and further, applicants with advanced degrees are not eligible for funding of lower-tier degrees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications must be submitted within 12 months of receiving the degree or ACC certificate.
