Through shared governance, each employee association help steer the program&#8217;s development.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three Educational Plans<\/h2>\n<p>The Educational Advancement Program provides three plans for employees, depending on their individual educational or professional goals.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/human-resources\/tuition-waiver-plan\/\">Tuition Waiver Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/human-resources\/tuition-vouchers\/\">Tuition Voucher Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/human-resources\/tuition-reimbursement\/\">Tuition Reimbursement Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For Recent Graduates<\/h2>\n<p>In collaboration with the Educational Advancement Program, ACC Total Rewards manages the <strong>Educational Recognition Award<\/strong>. Non-faculty employees who meet the following criteria may be eligible for a one-time stipend:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Held a staffing table position for at least 12 consecutive&nbsp;months<\/li>\n<li>Not on performance probation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The stipend is available upon earning one of the following degrees or certificates:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Associate degree<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Doctorate degree<\/li>\n<li>ACC college credit workforce technical certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The award amount varies depending on the degree. Applicants with advanced degrees are not eligible for funding for lower-tier degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be submitted within 12 months of receiving the degree or ACC certificate.
