{"id":79,"date":"2023-05-15T17:38:29","date_gmt":"2023-05-15T17:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/equal-opportunity-compliance\/?page_id=79"},"modified":"2024-09-03T18:26:37","modified_gmt":"2024-09-03T18:26:37","slug":"clery-act-compliance-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/equal-opportunity-compliance\/clery-act\/clery-act-compliance-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"Clery Act Compliance Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACC Fulfills its Clery Act Obligations By:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tracking all locations <\/strong>used for ACC&#8217;s institutional and educational purposes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collecting, classifying and counting<\/strong> crime reports and crime statistics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Issuing campus alerts<\/strong> to provide the campus community with information necessary to make informed decisions about their health and safety.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Timely warnings (also known as Crime Alerts)<\/strong>&nbsp;for any Clery Act crime that represents a serious or continuing threat to the safety of students or employees;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emergency notifications via <a href=\"https:\/\/offices.austincc.edu\/emergency-management\/acc-emergency-alert\/\">ACC Emergency Alert<\/a><\/strong> upon confirmation of a significant emergency or dangerous situation involving an immediate threat to the health or safety of students or employees occurring on the campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Providing educational programs and campaigns&nbsp;<\/strong>to promote the awareness of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Having procedures for institutional disciplinary action <\/strong>in cases of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keeping a daily crime log<\/strong> of alleged criminal incidents that is open to public inspection.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Publishing an annual security report<\/strong> containing safety- and security-related policy statements and crime statistics and distributing it to all current students and employees.
