This supplies enough electricity to power 164 homes (according to the Solar Energy Industries Association). In other words, it\u2019s a lot! And it takes up about 2.5 acres of rooftop space across the district.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">San Gabriel Campus \u2013 2018<\/h3>\n<p>230 kW rooftop photovoltaic project, with optimizers to maximize output in a design with six inverters.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highland Campus Building 1000 \u2013 2017<\/h3>\n<p>233kW rooftop photovoltaic project funded through multiple grants including EBSCO and the Capital Council of Governments (CAPCOG).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Round Rock Campus \u2013 Distributed Renewable Energy Technology Program \u2013 ARRA Grant, December 2011<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eastview Campus \u2013 Distributed Renewable Energy Technology Program \u2013 ARRA Grant, November 2010<\/h3>\n<p>Eastview Campus photovoltaic project was also part of the stimulus fund grant project noted above. Total 100.8KW system was installed on the roof of building 8000. The combined photovoltaic arrays of Northridge and Eastview will generate enough electricity to serve more than 46 Austin-area homes.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Northridge Campus \u2013 Distributed Renewable Energy Technology Program, November 2010<\/h3>\n<p>ACC won a $2 million competitive grant ($1.6 million federal grant and $400,000 from ACC\u2019s matching fund), funded through the stimulus (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act); federal money administered through SECO\/Texas Comptroller. As part of the grant project, 244.4 KW system was installed on the roofs of buildings 1000, 2000, and 3000.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Riverside Campus \u2013 Photovoltaic, September 2009<\/h3>\n<p>11.6 KW Grid tied PV system was installed on the roof of building G at Riverside Campus.
