Welcome to Emergency Management<\/h2>\n

Austin Community College’s top priority is providing a safe and secure environment in which to learn and work. The Emergency Management function, is a part of the ACC Police Department<\/a>. Emergency Management will support the department\u2019s mission to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff through timely emergency notifications, preparedness initiatives, and training opportunities.<\/p>\n

Planning is based on the four interconnected phases of emergency management: prevention\/mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.<\/p>\n
