Your service and life experience strengthen our classrooms, our teams, and our region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For most, service does not end when the uniform comes off. You continue to show up for those in your life. Thank you for what you bring to this College and community every day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recognition of the holiday, <strong>ACC will be closed on Tuesday, November 11<\/strong>, to allow time to reflect and honor those who have served.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Supporting Our Veterans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a veteran or from a military family, please remember that you are not alone here. These centers are available to support you:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/veterans-services\/veterans-resource-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Veterans Resource Center<\/strong><\/a><strong>:<\/strong> A welcoming space where veterans can meet with academic advisors who understand military transitions, get help navigating benefits, and connect with peers who\u2019ve walked similar paths.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/military-families-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Military Families Center<\/strong><\/a>: Supports spouses, partners, and children of service members and veterans with community-building, resource navigation, peer support, and family-centered programming.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/veterans-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ACC Career &amp; Advising Services<\/strong><\/a>: Trained staff who can help translate military experience into civilian career language, strengthen r\u00e9sum\u00e9s, and connect you to employers seeking veteran talent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are also honored to continue our partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mil\/futures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Army Futures Command<\/strong><\/a>. Together, soldiers and ACC students are developing solutions that shape the future of technology and national defense.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/students.austincc.edu\/military-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Military Network <\/strong><\/a>to learn more about the work we\u2019re doing together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Veterans Day, I encourage everyone in our ACC community to take a moment to thank and support the veterans and military families among us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To our veterans: thank you for your service to our country and your continued contributions in our community.
