Dr. Jenna Cullinane Hege serves as Vice Chancellor of Institutional Research & Analytics at Austin Community College (ACC), where she leads the college\u2019s data strategy to advance institutional effectiveness and the success of all students. In this role, she oversees the collection, analysis, and strategic use of data to support a culture of inquiry, data literacy, and informed decision-making across the institution.<\/p>\n

A systems thinker and collaborative strategist, Dr. Cullinane Hege has been instrumental in shaping ACC\u2019s Theory of Change and transformative initiatives such as ACC\u2019s Free Tuition Program and Bats to Cats<\/em>, a guaranteed transfer program. Her leadership reflects a commitment to reducing gaps in student outcomes and reimagining student success through innovative, evidence-based approaches.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining ACC, Dr. Cullinane Hege served as Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Planning at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, where she leveraged the state\u2019s vast data resources to inform higher education policy and funding models with a focus on access, completion, and labor market outcomes.<\/p>\n

In addition to her vice chancellor role, she contributes to state and regional initiatives that align finance with student outcomes. She is a member of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board\u2019s Community College Finance Committee, where she chairs a subcommittee on performance funding outcomes. Locally, she serves as Vice Chair of the Central Texas College Attainment Network and as a Board Member for Austin Partners in Education.<\/p>\n

Dr. Cullinane Hege is also deeply engaged in leadership development and community impact. She is a graduate of the Aspen Institute\u2019s Rising Presidents Fellowship<\/em>, a former assistant professor of practice in Education Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin, and a member of the Leadership Austin Essential 45 \u2013 2024 cohort. At ACC, she is a mentor for the Ascender program, serves on the Administrative Services Council and teaches mathematics in the Adult Education Department.<\/p>\n

She earned her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Master\u2019s in Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and holds a Bachelor\u2019s in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
