R2R provides feedback to assist management and other stakeholders in making informed strategic decisions that contribute to equitable student outcomes.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">What Does R2R Do?<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p>The R2R Department plays a critical role in accounting and financial reporting processes at Austin Community College District. Our key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial Data Collection:<\/strong> We collect financial data from various sources within ACC, including transactional records, budget reports, and operational data, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information gathered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data Processing<\/strong>: We process financial data using advanced accounting systems and methodologies, applying industry best practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial Reporting<\/strong>: We prepare and present basic financial statements that provide insights into ACC&#8217;s financial performance, including; Statement of Net Position, Statements of Revenues, Expenses and Changes in Net Position, Statement of Cash Flows, and other key financial indicators.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Operational Feedback:<\/strong> We provide financial and operational feedback to ACC management and stakeholders, offering insights into how the institution is performing and identifying areas for improvement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Internal Controls: <\/strong>The R2R department contributes to establishing and maintaining an effective internal control structure through its processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"list\"><p class=\"trigger\"><a href=\"#\">How Does R2R Make a Difference?<\/a><\/p><div class=\"toggle_container\"><div class=\"block\"><\/p>\n<p>The R2R Department supports strategic decision-making at ACC by providing timely and accurate financial reporting; as well as ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
